These warning signs can only be perceived with self-examination, because testicular cancer is not painful. How to perform testicular self-examination in the right way Testicular self-examinationit should be performed after taking a bath or a hot shower, so that the skin is relaxed. One testicle should be examined at a time, taking it with both hands between the thumb, index and middle fingers, and being careful to place the thumb on top of the pouch. It is necessary to explore the testicle with small rotational movements that allow to trace any bumps or changes in consistency.
