Thomas suffers from paranoid schizophrenia and Dominick – who also has a painful past behind him – will spend much of his life taking care of him as he uncovers the truth about his family’s history. Based on the best seller You Should Have Known (in Italy published under the title Una famiglia felice), a literary case of 2014, the series tells the story of Grace Fraser (Nicole Kidman), a successful New York therapist about to publish her first book and married to Jonathan Fraser (Hugh Grant), a respected surgeon.
