The third wave seems to have finally passed , with an accumulated incidence that is already around 200 cases per 100,000 inhabitants. Given this, the Autonomous Communities have begun to slightly lower the restrictions, although the fear of the expansion of the new strains is still present.
After Christmas, the regional executives imposed restrictions on mobility and social relations that were tougher than those seen in November, during the second wave. But this trend is now beginning to change as data improves.
The restrictions are very different between each region: where one opts for provincial confinement, another decrees the autonomous one. There are even more lax cases, such as Madrid, which has not closed its limits since Christmas, it has only done so in very specific health areas with a high incidence.
Something similar happens with meetings or limitations in the hospitality industry. Each regional government has opted for a very different regulation according to its epidemiological data. Although evolution leads to greater permissiveness.
We review the status in each Autonomous Community according to the data they have been providing:
Andalusia
Situation: Closure of all provinces and municipalities that exceed 500 cases per 100,000 inhabitants.
Curfew:22:00-06:00
Meetings: Four people
Hospitality and trade: Bars and shops must close at 18:00. If they exceed 1,000 cases per 100,000 inhabitants, they are all closed.
Remarks: These limitations go into effect on Sunday, January 17. Juanma Moreno has requested the self-confinement of the population.
Aragon
Situation: Autonomous and interprovincial closure. Zaragoza, Teruel capital, Alcaniz and Calatayud are confined.
Curfew: 22:00-06:00
Meetings: Maximum of four people
Hospitality and commerce:Non-essential shops and hotels close at 6:00 p.m. on weekends and at 8:00 p.m. on other days. In confined municipalities, capacity is limited to 50%.
Asturias
Situation: Autonomic closure. The perimeter closure in Cangas de Narcea, Carreno, Gijon, Mieres, San Martin del Rey Aurelio, Laviana, Lena, Grado and Aller.
Curfew: 22:00-06:00
Meetings: Six people not living together. In closed municipalities the limit is four people.
Hospitality and commerce: All businesses close at 8:00 p.m. and you can not smoke on terraces. Closed municipalities close the hotel completely.
Balearic Islands
Situation:The Community does not have a perimeter fence, but it borders the islands of Ibiza and Formentera.
Curfew: 22:00-06:00
Meetings: Mallorca, Ibiza and Formentera are limited to cohabitants. Menorca up to six people.
Hospitality and commerce: The hospitality industry closes on all the islands except Menorca, which will have a capacity of 75% and must close at 6:00 p.m. on weekends. Mallorca, Ibiza and Formentera limit capacity in stores to 30%. The percentage in Menorca is 50%.
Canary Islands
Situation: Free circulation is only allowed in Fuerteventura, El Hierro, Tenerife, La Palma and La Gomera. In Lanzarote, La Graciosa and Gran Canaria there is a limitation of entry and exit.
Curfew: 22:00-06:00
Meetings: Lanzarote and La Graciosa to two; the rest to six.
Hospitality and trade: In Lanzarote and La graciosa it closes at 18:00. In the rest at 22:00.
Cantabria
Situation: Closure of the community
Curfew: 22:00-06:00
Meetings: Six people.
Hospitality and commerce: Closure of shopping centers on weekends. The hotel remains closed.
Castilla-La Mancha
Situation: Regional closure.
Curfew: The entire territory from 10:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.
Meetings: Six people
Hospitality and commerce:Bars open at 30% indoors with no bar service. Non-essential commerce reopens at 30%
Castilla y Leon
Situation: Autonomous closure
Curfew: 22:00-06:00 (the Supreme Court imposes this start after several weeks in advance at 20:00)
Meetings: Four people
Hospitality and commerce : Exterior capacities at 75%. Closure of the interior of bars, gyms, nightclubs and betting houses. Closure of shopping centers. The small business will have a maximum capacity of 30%. All non-essential activity will close at 8:00 p.m.
Catalonia
Situation: Autonomous and regional closure.
Curfew: 22:00-06:00
Meetings: Six people
Hospitality and trade: Bars can open for breakfast (from 07:30 to 10:30) and lunch (from 13:00 to 16:30). Indoors are limited to 30% tables. Retail opens at 30% Monday through Friday. Shopping malls are still closed.
Ceuta
Situation: Closure of the city
Curfew: 22:00-06:00
Meetings: Four people
Hospitality and trade: 30% indoor capacity and 50% outdoor capacity. At 22:00 they must close.
Community of Madrid
Situation: Closure of 25 health units in eight municipalities. The community is not closed.
Curfew: 23:00-06:00
Meetings:Four people in homes. In bars there can be six if they wear masks
Hospitality and commerce: Bars and shops close at 9:00 p.m. with 50% capacity inside and 75% outdoors. There can only be six people per table. The shop can open until 21:00.
Valencian Community
Situation: Autonomic closure. Municipal confinement of cities with more than 50,000 inhabitants on weekends.
Curfew: 22:00-06:00
Meetings: Only cohabitants in homes and two people in the public sphere.
Hospitality and commerce: Complete closure of hospitality and commerce. Businesses that offer essential services will open until 18:00
Extremadura
Situation:Perimeter confinement in the Community. The municipalities with an incidence of 500 cases per 100,000 inhabitants are closed.
Curfew: 10:00 p.m.- 6:00 a.m.
Meetings: Six people
Hospitality and commerce: The restaurant reopens from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. with 40% capacity inside and 50% outside. Retail stores open during the week from 10:00 to 18:00 and on Saturdays until 14:00 with capacity at 30%.
Galicia
Situation: Autonomic closure
Curfew: 22:00-06:00
Meetings: Four people
Hospitality and trade: Depends on the incident. If it is high, it closes; if it is medium, the terraces are opened to 50%; if it is low, they open interiors at 30%
La Rioja
Situation: Autonomic closure
Curfew: 22:00-06:00

Melilla
Situation: Closure of the city

Hospitality and commerce: The shops close at 22:00. The bars from 07:00 to 21:30. Maximum of five tables per hotel establishment. There can be no more than four people per table.
Murcia
Situation: Autonomous confinement.

Meetings:Two people unless they are cohabiting.
Hospitality and commerce: Closure of all non-essential activity at 8:00 p.m., in closed municipalities it is at 6:00 p.m. In stores, capacity limit to 50%.In bars, the interior capacity ranges from 30% (if there is high transmission) to 75% (low transmission).
Navarra
Situation: Confinement of the region
Curfew: 23:00-06:00
Meetings: Six people
Hospitality and commerce: Shops with capacity at 40% and closing at 21:00. In bars, it is only allowed to be on the terraces and four people per table. Prohibits smoking on the terraces.
Basque Country
