land loved by the sun and kissed by two seas that shape its 800 km of coastline, Calabria is in itself a small paradise with a great artistic heritage and cultural enriched by the food and wine traditions, by the artisan traditions, by the characteristic folkloristic manifestations and above all by the beauty of its coasts. Calabria offers days on the beach, excursions between the different parks, woods and mountain plateaus as long as you have your own vehicle: many inland areas are not well connected to the railway line, and in general you cannot rely heavily on public transport.
The reference airports are Lamezia Terme and Reggio Calabria , (average flight costs in high season € 100.00, low season € 50.00), the region can also be reached by train and Flixbus. However, the best choice remains the car especially if the intention is to move between the various places as local public transport is not very functional. Finally, the cost of accommodation varies according to the location, but to save money, b & b and farmhouses are preferable, which have very advantageous prices.
