Here is the ranking of the 10 highest waterfalls in the world .
10 – Browne: 836 meters
Where is it : South Island in New Zealand
We open the ranking with the Browne Fall, homonymous to the lake from which it sees its water, and then pours out in a jump of 836 meters. They are named after the aerial photographer who discovered them in 1940.
9 – James Bruce: 840 meters

As well as being the ninth tallest waterfall in the world, James Bruce fall is also the largest in North America . Falls from 840 meters into Loquilts Bay.
8 – Pu’uka’oku: 840 meters

Higher up is the Olo’upena Fall; this is located in the territory of the United States of America. In reality, it too falls from over 840 meters, just a few tens of centimeters more than the James Bruce.
7 – Balaifossen: 850 meters
Where is it : County of Hordaland in Norway
Balaifossen is the first among the waterfalls classified in the top ten to be located in the Old Continent. Its size grows considerably with the arrival of summer and the consequent melting of the snow.
6 – Vinnufossen: 860 meters

Norway boasts two of the highest waterfalls in the world. The Vinnufossenit is placed in sixth place, also winning another prestigious record: it is the highest waterfall in Europe . The places surrounding it are widely appreciated by nature-loving tourists.
5 – Yumbilla: 896 meters
Where is it : Amazonas region in Peru The Yumbilla
waterfall is awarded the fifth position in the ranking . The excursion that allows the visit is a test that only true nature lovers can overcome. The journey takes over 2 hours during which you will have to travel through the rainforest. Of course, a guide is essential. 4 – OloÊ»upena: 900 meters Where is it : Molokai Island of the Hawaii archipelago in the USA
Also made up of different levels, it is difficult to visit but not impossible. During certain times of the year it is possible to fly over the area or take part in boat tours on the river.
3 – Las Tres Hermanas: 914 meters

It takes its name from the 3 levels that make it up. Unfortunately, the waterfall cannot be visited by tourists, due to the dense vegetation that characterizes the area.
2 – Tugela: 948 meters

In the second position we find the Tugela waterfall. Easily visited, it is one of the main attractions of the park, but not during the rainy season, a period in which the flow of water increases dangerously.

Located in an area formerly considered sacred by local tribes, Angel Fall is the tallest waterfall in the world. It is located in the Canaima National Park , one of the most beautiful green areas on the planet. There are two ways to visit it: by flying over the area from above in a helicopter or by taking a boat trip on the river.
