A specific tuning chassis
Exclusively sold with Coupe bodywork and has 90 hp more than the Cayenne Turbo Coupe,besides that the new Turbo GT has a suspension 1.7 cm lower. Parallel to this change, the rigidity of the three air suspension chambers has also been increased by 15 percent, as have the characteristics of the shock absorbers of the Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM) system, the steering and of the steered rear axle. In addition, the body roll stabilization system – Porsche Dynamic Chassis Control (PDCC) – also has a specific adjustment in this Turbo GT variant to achieve more grip and stability, as well as greater precision in high-speed cornering.
Another retouched element is the Porsche Torque Vectoringwhich is capable of sending a greater range of torque to each wheel to achieve greater dynamic balance.
The wheels are also wider and the negative camber of the front axle has been increased by 0.45 degrees, using 22” rims and Pirelli P Zero Corsa tires specifically developed for this Cayenne, which, moreover, comes standard with the ceramic brake disc, the Porsche Ceramic Composite Brake (PCCB).
In the engine the moving parts have been improved compared to those of the Turbo Coupeand the gearbox, an eight-speed Tiptronic S, is able to work faster. In addition, the transfer case has a new cooling and the exhaust is exclusive, being made of titanium from the middle of the SUV to the rear, without the central silencer to reduce weight.
Bodywork with a very distinctive appearance
In option the paint is Artic Silver, while among the differentiating elements of the bodywork are the front skirt with the large spoilerr, the larger side cooling intakes or the carbon-contoured roof and wheel arches in black. Also the aforementioned Neodyme color rims, the carbon side plates of the roof spoiler or the larger spoiler lip of the bumper. These changes allow to increase the downforce up to 40 kilos at 300 km/h.
In the passenger compartment, the front seats are sports with eight adjustments, while the two rear seats, also sports, are the standard configuration of this Turbo GT. They have perforated Alcantara central panels. The multifunction steering wheel also has a central mark in yellow and, in some finishes, the moldings are in matt black.
The Porsche Communication Management (PCM) system is 6.0 and, in addition to being compatible with Apple CarPlay, it is now also compatible with Apple Music and Apple Podcast. On the other hand, launches Android Auto.
