The beating heart of the village is certainly its main square, Piazza Bentivoglio, overlooked by the most significant monuments of the city: the Civic Tower, the Collegiate Church of Santa Maria della Neve, but above all the Bentivoglio Palace complex. Built at the beginning of the seventeenth-century period, the Bentivoglio Palace consists of several rooms, including the Gentilizia Chapel, the Sala dei Falegnami and the Salone dei Giganti, inside these there are some frescoes and some works of extreme value . Of great beauty, we also recommend Villa Torello with its romantic gardens and neo-classical architecture.

The town is none other than one of the best preserved medieval villages of the Tuscan-Romagna Apennines, characterized by gentle slopes and a fortress that majestically overlooks the entire city fabric.
The Rocca Sforzesca , still perfectly preserved, is the main attraction of the village. The interiors and exteriors of the Rocca present the original medieval structure, with the furniture of excellent workmanship, the paintings and tapestries hanging on the walls, the elegant rooms. The art gallery, the weapons room and the prisons are also very interesting inside the Rocca. On the opposite side, however, the old city walls can still be seen, albeit partially incorporated into the more recently built houses. The typical medieval atmosphere , however, can be found mainly in the historical part of the village, with the narrow streets, the ups and downs, the low and perched houses and the hidden courtyards.
If you are in Brisighella, the starting point for your visit is certainly Piazza Marconioverlooked by the town hall and from which the via del Borgo, also called via degli Asini, starts. Thanks to recent restoration work, the village has revalued the typical architecture of its origins, adding some more modern embellishment. Among the main places of interest we find the Church of San Rocco (just outside the walls, as it once served as a hospital), the interesting Museum of the Goth Line and the Sanctuary of the Beata Vergine delle Grazie, formerly a place of pilgrimage. Among these we point out the Romanesque-style Cathedral (later rebuilt by Lombard masters), the parish church of Santa Maria Assunta (i.e. the oldest cult building in San Leo and Montefeltro), the bell tower, the Palazzo Mediceo and above all the Fort, inside which the Count of Cagliostro was imprisoned until his death.
Small curiosity: the name of the village would seem to derive from a hermit (later proclaimed a saint) who had settled here, among other things, a companion of San Marino, both of whom lived in the IX-X century.
