The colors of the jersey are black and gold, colors of the historic Lotus 97T driven by the green-gold driver in the ’85 season , with which he won the first Grand Prix at Estoril in Portugal .
In addition to the color of the car, the shirt has two other references of the famous Senna: his signature on the chest and 41 gold stripes , each referring to the driver’s victories in Formula 1 . The idea for this shirt was born from Nike , technical sponsor of the Brazilian club, and the Ayrton Senna Institute .
