Theses and counter-theses on the conspiracy induced by the Coronavirus. The post by Sabrina Fantauzzi, journalist and communicator
Since the beginning of the isolation I have received hundreds of video messages on conspiracy theories. As I imagine each of you. Compelling theses that suddenly transform us into counterintelligence experts and 007 agents with a spoon in hand and in slippers. Forced into captivity, locked up in the house, with isolated cities and closed shops, the economy reduced to subsistence economy, we live in a sort of Middle Ages, but thanks to the network we live a digital Middle Ages through which superstitions pass, prejudices are strengthened, overrun the readings against historical enemies… Everyone has their own.
In short, the tragic counting of the dead and the superhuman sacrifices of those on the field is not enough to keep quiet in the ‘lucky’ home imprisonment, it is not enough to know that millions of economic and productive activities are dying (and I assure you that those entrepreneurs do not care. a strain of the conspiracy) …, but we ourselves feed the theses of the powers that use bacteriological weapons to bury Italy.
Intolerance towards the government measures that impose seclusion on us begins to rise, we see slips towards a dictatorial regime, in which everyone, absolutely everyone, is accomplices, doctors, scientists, nurses, majority, opposition, Head of State, the Army, the judiciary, trade unions, employers’ associations, intermediate bodies, the Vatican, the secret services, the deviant services, the mafia, the mafias, foreign countries … all silent complicit in this conspiracy of superpowers or puppeteers plutocrats.
There are several hypotheses. I illustrate some of them. THE WAR OF AMERICA AGAINST CHINA
In this case it would be the US who invented the virus and released it during the military games in Wuhan to destroy the Middle Empire and its excessive power. Italy would be punished because of the agreements on the Silk Road. Agreements that would have effectively handed over our strategic infrastructures to the yellow giant with all due respect to NATO and the historic alliance with the United States.
First Counter-thesis: the Silk Road had already been de-listed from the political agenda. China had already stopped growing. And if the US action had been to induce public opinion to distance itself from China, this goal has failed because the only ones who are helping us today are the Chinese. It seems very strange to me that a strategist should make this mistake.
Second counter-thesis: what interest would America have had in destabilizing Italy in this way, which has always been a friendly nation of the United States (like it or not …) and a founding country of the European Union whose finances and whose tangible and intangible markets are deeply interconnected by a global point of view
The United States linked to China, which owns its public debt, and the EU linked to the United States for financial and economic relations, as well as historical ones, would also have been at the expense. In this thesis, the US should remain immune to the epidemiological, economic and financial pandemic virus. Instead, the Americans are also suffering from the pandemic and the extent of the countermeasures they have put in place has figures that we cannot even imagine. It makes sense to destroy (for the US) the world if the world is dragging you down

One of the confirmations of the conspiracy theses and the news reported by some financial newspaper long before the pandemic, about the choice made by a fund, BridgeWater, to invest over 14 billion dollars in the collapse of the stock markets due to a pandemic.
Counter-thesis: Again, there is another logical argument that deconstructs the thesis of this conspiracy. That of the pandemic was not a hypothesis of some speculator but a clear prediction of the World Health Organization that exactly a year ago had warned us. Nobody listened to it, except the speculators who, on the basis of this information, do what speculators do. They invest in hypothetical scenarios, but in the case of the conspiracy, they may be the consequence of the pandemic but not the cause. It is moral or immoral
I don’t think financial speculators have Aristotle’s Nicomachean Ethics as their bible. But they simply have the convenience: maximum result, minimum effort and no speculator would invest a cent on the massacre of humanity. Because this is what we are talking about.
What sense would it make for finance if it were to operate in a reduced world as in the days of pre-capitalist civilization, to rebuild which would take centuries of economic investments that would devour in a nanosecond the 14 billion invested last October
Today’s speculators would find themselves in a scenario where the workforce is scarce, infrastructures no longer exist, social unrest prevails, populations no longer use money but barter and their financial economy would have no market in which to act simply because it does not there would be more exchanges.
What is the cost-benefit ratio here too in achieving a similar state of relegation of humanity
Also in this case, the thesis of the financial conspiracy loses its credibility. POLITICS
Another thesis in support of the conspiracy and, or it would be, the closed Parliament. A thesis that would prove the total acquiescence, complicity of politics and institutions towards the hegemonic dream of a man alone in command, Conte, but commanded by dark powers.
Apart from the mutability of public opinion for which we have passed from the systematic demolition of parliamentary institutions, from the mortification of the role of the elected by the people, to their exaltation and centrality.
Until yesterday, deputies and senators seen as the cause of all the Italic evils suddenly rehabilitated to the rank of saviors of the homeland and guardians of democracy. Now we realize that not only do we need the nearly one thousand parliamentarians, until yesterday considered slackers and eaten betrayal, but we entrust them with the duty to prevent President Conte from assuming absolute powers. How it is not understood. Indeed there is a way.
And here is the counter-thesis: Parliament has not been closed. Deputies and senators vote on the decree-laws that pass to the Chamber. Democracy has not stopped. Their presence was contingent to prevent the contagion from spreading back to the regions of origin or vice versa. Simple prophylaxis. You want these MPs to go back to the Houses, perfect. They will return but to do that
To examine the measures of the Government, amend the decrees, push the button, audit, parliamentary. Because this is what Parliament does: it speaks. And vote. But this he did even before, in reduced ranks, the sudden outrage over the closed Parliament. PANDEMIC AND INSTITUTIONAL SYSTEM
The problem is another and it is of a purely institutional nature: this well-structured system is capable of responding quickly to emergencies

Because the times of parliamentary democracy require 60 days for the conversion of the law decrees which in turn need hundreds and hundreds of implementing decrees at the ministerial and infra-ministerial level. Months. sometimes years.
It is not because the Fifth Title, a reform that has names and surnames, has broken the state, entrusted to the Regions a competence that today has to do with national security: health. We realize what we are talking about
We are not deciding the appointments of the health directors of the ASL, or the maintenance of the cardiology department of a hospital in a municipality of 1000 inhabitants. We are talking about the public health of 60 million people, and together with them about 7 billion human beings. A catastrophe managed at the regional level due to a misunderstanding about federalism that eliminates the centrality of the state, the first and only owner, and tutelary deity, of national security. TO CONCLUDE
For the avoidance of doubt, it is not that I do not ask myself the problem of what is happening and why. I too try to see what moves beyond the visible. But I think now is not the right time to pollute the superhuman, titanic effort to save lives. Maybe we should all tone it down, use the tools we have critically, and first be aware of our cultural and cognitive limitations. The only awareness that allows us to be wary of those who offer us fascinating and eschatological theses, plots launched by those who put the dots together, already having in mind the design to be realized.
Any self-respecting conspiracy to go to the goal cannot rely on billions of people who live this drama live on their skin. There are too many components of danger and too many unpredictable variables for this to be a conspiracy that in itself cannot be hatched by thousands of people with the complicity of the democratic institutions of the countries involved.
There is a Calabrian proverb to indicate the secrecy of certain operations: “You know it, I know it … the King knows”.
