- Get some exercise
This is the best tactic to beat cellulite . Contains fat levels in the body and helps maintain firm, toned skin. Aim for 30 to 40 minutes of exercise three to four times a week. You must include cardiovascular training, such as brisk walking, running and cycling, combined with toning up with weights. Pilates and yoga will help, although they shouldn’t be the only physical activity. - Do these targeted butt exercises:
- Lunge: This exercise is best for toning your thighs and glutes. His secret lies in being able to tone both parts simultaneously. Standing with your feet slightly apart, keep your stomach in and take a large step forward (i.e., a lunge). When the foot of the front leg touches the ground, bend the knee so that the hips drop and the knee of the other leg bends. Then return to the starting position. Perform three sets of 15-20 repetitions alternating legs.
- Static Lunge: This is very similar to the exercise described above, the only difference being that once you have performed the forward lunge, you must hold the position and move vertically. Drop down until your knee is a few inches off the floor, then stand up. Do three sets of 15-20 reps per leg.
- Squat: Great for a firm butt. Stand upright with your feet slightly more apart than your shoulders. Imagine having to sit on a chair and, keeping your stomach in and your back straight, lower yourself down. Always keep your knees in line with your toes. Slowly return to the starting position and repeat. Do two sets of 15-20 repetitions.
- Quadruped Leg Push: Get on all fours, keep your back straight and contract your abdominal muscles. Raise and bend one leg to form a 90 degree angle, then lower it without touching the floor and repeat all 15-20 times; switch legs and start over.
- Myths to dispel
Claim: Cellulite is the result of the accumulation of toxins resulting from an improper diet, coffee and smoking. False. Cellulite is pure and simple fat. This is why your wild friend can have baby-smooth skin and continue to afford a party life. - Invest in anti- cellulite treatments Anti-cellulite
creams don’t work, but there is a technique whose effectiveness has been proven by clinical experiments, the endermology . It is a massage that acts on the deep tissues, using a machine to hit the cells and force them to get back into shape. Creams, however, can firm the surface layers of the skin: use one that contains active ingredients of some use. You can try a product based on escin, horse chestnut extract, or good old aloe vera, available at any drugstore. These ingredients stimulate circulation and subcutaneous microcirculation. - Get massages
Recent medical research from Middlesex University Hospital in London shows that, in addition to relieving pain and aches, a massage can stimulate circulation and blood supply to internal organs. Great news for you: 1-0 against cellulite. - Eat the Right Food
Reducing the amount of fat in your diet is the key. Go for foods rich in omega 3 and omega 6 (EFA fatty acids). These substances not only regulate the rate at which fat is absorbed by the body, but, according to some research, they also have a definite anti-cellulite effect. EFAs are found in oily fish, especially salmon and tuna, flaxseed and walnuts. Take care to eat fatty fish at least twice a week, otherwise take a supplement. - Increase your intake of antioxidants
They help fight free radicals, rogue molecules that appear naturally and are also a source of trouble for the shape of fat cells. Antioxidants are found in onions, cloves, garlic, vitamins A, C and E, as well as in the minerals selenium, zinc and manganese.
Buy a body brush (one of those body brushes). Exfoliating dry skin will not rid your body of cellulite, but it will improve the overall appearance of the skin as it promotes lymphatic drainage and helps make the skin appear less swollen and yellowish. Move the brush in circular motions towards the heart, focusing on the legs with large brushes.
