The comment by Pierluigi Magnaschi, editor of the newspaper Italia Oggi, on the positions of Macron’s France in relation to Italy
It has been for at least two years that the French president Emmanuel Macron, continuing in the path of his predecessors at the Elysée, has given the numbers towards of Italy, with the connivance, unfortunately, of the last four Italian governments that have never angered him or his predecessors (with the only exception of that of Gentiloni, thanks to the role played in it by Minniti and Calenda). THE ATTITUDES OF PAST ITALIAN GOVERNMENTS
The attitude of past Italian governments towards France has always been one of supine and unconditional acceptance of transalpine choices. But it was not only the Italian governments that were supine with regard to France (in anatomy we speak, if you want to be exact, of a genopectoral position). Even the big Italian media (paper and electronic) have almost always invited the government of Rome to accept the diktats of Paris and, in any case, to embrace-nous, to embrace each other, with the «cousins from beyond the Alps». ISSUES RELATED TO IMMIGRATION
Also yesterday there were some big media that, without any shame and challenging the ridiculous, were wondering, worried, if the five-star proposals regarding immigration and Europe risk damaging the good relations between Italy and France. It seems to understand, based on the reasoning of our intelligentsia, that, even if Italy is a country of 60 million inhabitants, with an industrial structure that is second in Europe only to Germany, it must sit and wait, in order to move, Macron’s nod. THE CONTRAST BETWEEN INTERESTS
That this way of proceeding is not dignified for Italy (as well as harmful to it) the Italian voters have perfectly noticed, those who have not attended the big schools and who sometimes also implant themselves in the conditional, but who are in able to guess what their interests are (individual and of the whole country), while the big heads may know where the national interest lies, but they pretend to forget it in order to benefit from it or to have no trouble. THE DOSSIER ON THE LEGIONS OF HONOR …
One day or another we will publish the complete list of Italian politicians to whom the Republic of France has conferred, with great fanfare, the Legion d’honneur in the sumptuous halls painted by Carracci in the Palazzo Farnese. The Legion d’honneur is the greatest decoration conferred by the President of the French Republic on those who have distinguished themselves “for the extraordinary merits rendered to France”. In recent years, 70% of them have been awarded, in Italy, to leaders of the center-left because the Elysée had understood that it was from there that the greatest favors for France could be milked. SALVINI’S WORDS ABOUT LIBYA AND NOT ONLY
Salvini, speaking of flood immigration and France, spoke in a straightforward, direct and understandable language. And with it he explained things as they are. And that is that it was France that, with the overthrow of the Gaddafi regime, made, at the time of Sarkozy, only to achieve transalpine political interests to the detriment of Italy and its activities on the energy and geostrategic level (control of the Mediterranean ), destabilized the whole area of North Africa, thus removing all limits and controls from the slave laborers of the carts that transported (and transported) migrants to Italy. WHAT THE MONTI, LETTA AND RENZI GOVERNMENTS HAVE DONE
It is true that unfortunately the governments Monti, Letta and Renzi (rightly and definitively punished in the parties that succeeded them especially on the occasion of the elections of 4 March last) have repeatedly signed the halter contract of the Dublin Agreement (in all its subsequent amendments ) even if they could abstain. This agreement provides that migrants must take their fingerprints at the time of their disembarkation (which, for geographical reasons and political resignation, almost always occurs only in Italy). And if these immigrants are caught wandering or working in other EU countries, they are returned not to their countries of origin (which are often difficult to identify because they are cunningly disguised by them) but to the country of entry, i.e. Italy. THE QUESTION OF BORDERS
Until the borders to the north of Italy (i.e. towards France and Austria) had not yet been rigidly armored, the abnormality of the Dublin agreement had been attenuated, in fact, by the partial expatriation of the landed in Italy to the countries of central Europe and the United Kingdom. The situation, although unacceptable at the time, remained sustainable. But since France has armored its borders and, by order of Macron, brutally throws pregnant women off the trains in Menton and immediately forcibly pushes everyone back to Ventimiglia, the outflow towards central Europe has begun to regurgitate towards the ‘Italy. WHAT THE FRENCH COMBINES
Furthermore, given that Switzerland (which is not part of the EU but is the most armored nation of all) is unable to enter even a leaf without the authorization of the government, and given that Austria has threatened to deploy tanks on the border against those who, in one way or another, wanted to force them, all immigration from North Africa is forced to stagnate in Italy, for which a European problem has been downgraded to Italian, especially on the initiative of Macron, given that the Germans they are ashamed to imitate him on this ground. HOW TO REVIEW THE TREATY OF DUBLIN
While waiting to review the Dublin Treaty (but not as France wants, which would be a further mockery), it is possible to intervene to reduce the flows of migrants from Africa, collaborating with the countries of Central Africa to block those arriving from this ‘area and create hotspots in Libya and / or other North African countries (we note that when there is an unsustainable whore to propose, in Europe it is designated in English). THE HOTSPOT DOSSIER
The hotspots are in fact quite simply “concentration camps”, not of the Nazi type as some agitated people would like to designate them, but like those of the Allies during the Second World War. The hotspots would function as places of identification for refugees (who are only about 20% of immigrants) while 80% of economic migrants should be rejected, without ever having left the African continent. WHAT MACRON OFFERS
Macron, but it is not clear with what face (and then there are some great Italian columnists who do not want to make him angry!) Macron, I said, proposes, in order not to disturb Africa, where in fact he has other interests, that the hotspots be created in Italy. This is the result of the policy of indestructible deference that the Italian governments have reserved for Paris and in particular for Macron. THE THOUGHT OF ITALIANS
Salvini, like the majority of Italian voters, said enough of this abuse, not only without end but also destined to grow, if it is not opposed by Italian politicians who know what, in this case, the national interest and are willing to to defend him also because, particularly not indifferent, they are absolutely right to behave in this way and to prevent Macron (who, fortunately, is not all of France) from bullying a country that Paris would have an interest in considering as a friend. BECAUSE THE ITALIAN REACTIONS ARE JUSTIFIED
A country instead of Macron incites. Justifying the Italian reactions. It is symptomatic to note that the too long acquiescence of the Italian leaders towards Macron’s France disappeared on the occasion of the violent entry into Bardonecchia, as if it were their home and without notifying the Italian police, of the French gendarmes. On that occasion, even an illustrious and decorated politician of the Legion d’honneur publicly criticized the French president. Macron, who insists on first-class arrogance, which is already being downsized in France also by some of his men, did not realize that Bardonecchia was the point of no return of his relations with the Italy. Worse for him.
