Engineer Guido Parisi will be the new Head of the National Fire Brigade. The appointment was decided by the council of ministers. He will take over from Fabio Dattilo

Engineer Guido Parisi will be, from 1 August 2021, the new Head of the National Fire Brigade.
The appointment was decided by the Council of Ministers on 22 July. He will take over from Fabio Dattilo, 65, current Head of the Corps from 1 December 2018, who leaves active service. WHO IS GUIDO PARISI, NEW HEAD OF THE FIRE BRIGADE
Parisi, 63, is the current Central Director for Emergency, Technical Rescue and Forest Fire of the Fire Brigade. Graduated with honors in engineering in 1983 at Sapienza, Parisi entered the entrance course in central fire schools in 1986.
In 1987 he took up the position of executive officer at the Brescia Provincial Command and then at the Professional Training Inspectorate of the Fire Brigade. From 1996 to 1997 and provincial commander of Teramo to then pass with the same position in Asti until 2001.
Among the numerous positions at the central level there is that of director of the didactic division of the central fire-fighting schools and then (2002-2005) that Director of the Higher Fire Department.
From 2005 to 2009, as senior executive, and provincial commander of Rome. Promoted to general manager, Parisi became regional director of the Fire Brigade for Calabria (2009-2010) and then for Campania until 2014, when he was appointed Central Director for the Corps’ logistical and instrumental resources.
