Based on the film by Oscar-winning director Gabriele Salvatores, the new novel published by Salani is a great success with the public: the story about a thirteen-year-old introvert, comics and superheroes, a few weeks after its release, and already in its second edition
. MILAN – A magical story, which helps to grow up and to be kids again. This is how he is defined as “ The invisible boy ” by Alessandro Fabbri, Ludovica Rampoldi and Stefano Sardo, authors of the novel based on Salvatores’ latest film, for which they also wrote the screenplay. A topic much appreciated by the public: the book, with two editions in a few weeks, is in fact a success in the bookstore. TEAMWORK– A trio of close-knit authors, not new to join forces in the production of projects dedicated to cinema or television (together they wrote the film The Double Hour and the Italian adaptation of the In Treatment series). In parallel to the collaboration with the famous Oscar-winning director Gabriele Salvatore, for whom they wrote the screenplay of the film, this new novel published by Salani was born from their joint creativity. THE TOUGH TO GROW– The book, like the film, aims to deal with the delicate theme of the transition from adolescence to adulthood with freshness and sensitivity. The language chosen by the authors to represent the complexity of the subject with a light and lively touch is that of the fantastic narrative, linked in particular to the world of comics and its superhero vein. “In adolescence we all have to make a choice – says director Salvatores – to become an adult or decide to be a superhero.” This is the decision that Michele, thirteen-year-old protagonist of a compelling and profound novel, cannot escape from: irony and fantasy are the two superpowers with which Fabbri, Rampoldi and Sardo tell the limits and beauty of adolescence.SUPERPOWERS – “ The invisible boy ” shows off in a world where fantastic elements and reality interpenetrate: Michele is an introverted teenager, targeted by his classmates and ignored by the girl he fell in love with. For the outside world he seems to be completely invisible, and the only reaction he is able to oppose to events and isolation: his refuge and the intimacy of his room, his salvation the immersion in the reading of comic book superheroes. , the only friends really dear to him. Then one day the unexpected happens and a superpower upsets his existence. Looking in the mirror Michele discovers that he is invisible. It is only the beginning of his incredible adventure. THE FILM– The invisible boy, produced by Indigo Film and Rai Cinema, released yesterday in over 400 cinemas throughout Italy, was preceded by an intense presentation tour in the main Italian cities with Gabriele Salvatores, the authors of the novel and screenwriters and actors, enjoying exceptional success. In particular, the 500 Roman students who previewed the film welcomed it with extraordinary enthusiasm. 19 December 2014© REPRODUCTION RESERVED
