The main continental event is coming to an end and today there is the Italy England European Championships 2020 Final , which will be played at the Wembley stadium in London at 21:00 CET. Italy comes from a very tough semifinal against Spain , in which the Iberians dominated for large sections of the match and won on penalties. No less problematic was the match of England , who defeated Denmark in extra time, thanks to a non-existent penalty; despite the VAR , it was decided, in fact, to give a penalty to the Three Lions across the Channel.
The Southgate teamshowed great defensive solidity, having conceded just one goal from a great semi-final free kick against Denmark . Both teams are well equipped and have proven to be the strongest teams in the tournament, so we will most likely see a good match. The bookmakers give England the favorite also because they play at home but the Azzurri will not take the field to be tourists. Probably the English have something more on a technical level but Italy seems to be more of a team and this could make the difference. We hope that Mancini ‘s team pulls out the best possible performance and that we manage to win somehow.

The three-man midfield sees Verratti, Barella and Jorginho and, in attack , Insigne, Immobile and Chiesa take the field . The Azzurri national team wants to win a European that has been missing since 1968 and most likely the coach will try to set up an attacking match, with great ball possession; something that was almost completely missed in the semifinal against Spain .
If fatigue should emerge, Mancini will, as always, bring in fresh forces, which on several occasions have given the team a good life. England are a very strong team in defense and very effective in attack

He sides with the 4-2-3-1, with Pickford in goal and Walker and Shaw on the wings; at the center of the defense are Stones and Maguire and they proved to be an impassable dam and we must hope that Immobile is on the ball. The two medians in interdiction are Phillips, Rice and, in front of them, there are Sterling, Mount and Saka , supporting the only striker Kane.
England will probably have to give up Foden who is a great player even if he is not a starter while Spinazzola’s loss is much more substantial; Roma full -back sara, however, has decided to be there anyway and will give great support to his teammates.
The stakes are very high, given that England have not won a competition with the national team since the 1966 World Cup, won 55 years ago; we hope that this will lead Southgate ‘s men to discover themselves and that Italy will finally be able to be cynical and take advantage of the opportunities of the match.
