Where is
Agadir and capital of the province of Agadir-Ida Ou Taname and is located in the northern part of Morocco, at the foot of the Anti Atlas mountain range. It overlooks the Atlantic Ocean , which mitigates its climate, making it an ideal destination also for the summer (lower and more pleasant temperatures than those of Marrakech and the interior of the country). It is 258 km from Marrakech and 175 km from Essaouira.

1. Agadir Beach , number one attraction of the city, with its 10 km. With its waves it is perfect for surfers and kite surfers, but also excellent for relaxing and enjoying the sun
2. Agadir Oufella , the old part of the city, which was destroyed during the earthquake of 1960. Today only the city walls remain, but from the top of this hill you can enjoy a wonderful view of the city and the ocean.
3. Memory Agadir Museum , museum dedicated to the 1960 earthquake where a large part of the city was destroyed and where many people lost their lives
4. Jardin d’Olhao , a wonderful Berber-style garden in the heart of the city, with an area for children, small places to relax and a gallery where works by local artists are exhibited
5. Agadir Birds Valley , landscaped zoological park located near Agadir beach. With free admission, there are a large aviary, fountains, a small zoo and several play areas. Perfect if you are traveling as a family with children
6. Agadir Souk , a characteristic market with about 6,000 small shops of different sizes that sell everything from spices to souvenirs, from fabrics and fabrics to household items, to devote a few hours to it
7. Ancienne Talborjt , an old quarter of Agadir, which was heavily damaged by the earthquake. Here you will find the Mohamed V Mosque (which can only be visited from the outside if you are not a Muslim) and many local craft shops.
