Have you ever noticed that dogs often tend to make some habits of their human master
their own. In fact, we see a series of strange couples where the furry friend looks just like the human.
Anyone who has a dog knows it well: there is a lot to learn from them and at the same time they tend to assume unexpected attitudes and habits, very similar to ours. The company of a dog is very good for health and mood, perhaps also thanks to their sympathy and the ability they have to reflect the ways of their owner.
Here are eight strange habits that dogs “steal” from their owners .
- They copy the language . Well yes: let’s say for example that you often raise your voice, they will tend to do the same barking, or if you talk to him he may emit response sounds. If you add to these reinforcing behaviors , such as rewards, then the dog will tend to get used to “talking to you”.
- They sleep with the owners (and they adapt) . The schedules of an animal are very different from those of the human family, but over time the dog will get used to it and will base its daily rhythms on those of everyone else and, if they can, they will be happy to share a bed with you.
- Everyone at the “table” : if the dog starts eating at the same time as the owner, he will tend to get used to being hungry in those moments and therefore to ask. Just as it could happen to him to want some “present” from the table if he is used to being fed from the table.
- Walk : If your dog and owner are used to doing activities such as running and walking together then they will always expect to follow that routine. Animals are very habitual and not indulging in this nature could cause stress. It is also easy that, if they always maintain certain times, they will “notify” when the time has come to go out.
- Same friends and enemies . When you like someone you are practically certain that your dog will like it too, while if you don’t like a person, the same thing will happen.
- Emotional like us . Who did not happen to have a bad day and to be a little down in the dumps
On that occasion, you may have noticed that your pet also shared the same attitude: sadness and joy are emotions to be shared . But be careful, not only the momentary ones, but the distinctive traits of the owner’s personality could affect those of the dog. - Affectionate or not, just like the owner . If the human being tends to be cuddly, then the dog will have the same attitude too. While it will be less prone to affection if the owner is a person who tends little to physical contact.
- Synchronized . And here we go back to the 101 Dalmatians scene: dogs tend to copy the way their owners move and compose and therefore become more and more similar to them over time.
