Travel advice post COVID19
If you are planning a trip, make sure you are in line with safety measures. Follow government guidelines and only return to travel when the green light is given. Prefer natural and perhaps non-mass destinations, and in general promote local tourism: discover the wonders of your city, your region and your state. Try to avoid long-haul travel and at most choose destinations that can be reached with a few hours of flight.

1 – Tropea, Calabria
Splendid beaches, crystal clear water, natural attractions such as the famous Blue Grotto: Tropea is this and much more. Its famous village perched overlooking the sea offers young people many opportunities to spend evenings and nights of fun.
Compared to the most famous destinations of the boot, all in all in Tropea you can spend a summer holiday without fainting too much . If you book in advance and are satisfied with a small b & b, you can save some budget and then enjoy the nightlife.
The average cost of entry to the disco is around € 15.00, a cocktail on the beach around € 8.00.

2 – San Benedetto del Tronto, Marche
Photo by Luigi936. San Benedetto del Tronto is the most important center of the Riviera delle Palme: for over 15 years it has been a Blue Flag, and perfectly mixes maritime relaxation with nightlife . In addition to this, it hides indisputable beauties such as the Torre dei Gualtieri and the Cathedral of Santa Maria della Marina, and is equipped with a 6 km long promenade flanked by lush gardens.
This of course has translated into a rise in its prices as a top resort in the Italian summer, therefore it will be difficult to find low cost solutions : in short, better book in advance and resign yourself to putting your wallet!
The average cost of entry to the disco is around € 18.00, a cocktail on the beach close to € 10.00.

3 – Alghero, Sardinia
The splendid area called Riviera del Corallo is home to magnificent beaches: in Alghero we find Le Bombarde, Mugoni, Lazzaretto and the Cala dell’Argentiera, with a truly enviable sea. After sipping a cocktail directly on the sand, the nightlife continues in one of the well-known discos or in one of the renowned clubs.
As for all places in Sardinia, unfortunately the cost of travel affects the holiday package a little , but otherwise despite its beauty, Alghero remains a sustainable destination after all. By booking early you can save on accommodation , and the cost for leisure and entertainment is not excessive. An entrance to the disco is around € 15.00, a cocktail or aperitif on the beach for under € 10.00.

Photo by Leo Prati. Place of entertainment par excellence, Milano Marittima is every year the favorite destination of thousands of young people who love to sunbathe in the afternoon and at night … dance until dawn! The discos of Milano Marittima attract boys and girls from all over Italy , and are also well suited for occasions such as stag and hen parties.
It is clear that its status as a super vip destination is paid for … therefore it is one of the most expensive summer destinations in Italy , and also the nightlife, between clubs and clubs, is not so cheap. You will hardly enter a nightclub for less than € 20.00 and you will not spend less than € 10.00 for an aperitif on the beach. But if you are looking for maximum fun …

  • Places, clubs and events not to be missed : Pineta, Vanquish, Villa Papeete, Zouk Santana

A splendid island in the archipelago of the Flegrean islands, Ischia as well as having a really beautiful sea also has a very interesting city: Castello Aragonese. Museums, spas, parks but also breathtaking sunsets and … a nightlife full of possibilities and fun!

Summer is terribly crowded on the island , which becomes a real anthill, so book early to avoid skyrocketing costs . However Ischia proves ready to welcome vacationers with a rich proposal both in terms of accommodation and leisure and nightlife. And the costs, all in all, remain sustainable : an entrance to the disco is around € 15.00, a cocktail on the beach even less than € 8.00!

On the Click & Boat website you can find different solutions with prices starting from € 200 per day. View the available boats here

6 – Gallipoli, Puglia
Known as “the Pearl of the Ionian”, Gallipoli offers a nightlife that has nothing to envy to that of Riccione and the Romagna Riviera in general: starting with musical aperitifs, then moving on to for well-known cockatil bars and finally choosing one of the various local discos.
Fulcrum of the Salento summer, here in Gallipoli discos and beaches are concentrated among the most coveted by national and international DJs: Sunrise, Samsara, Zen are just some of the places where you can let loose until dawn.
Nevertheless, Gallipoli can be a low cost summer destination . But be careful to book well in advance, otherwise the prices will go up even over 100%.

The nightlife, on the other hand, is a little more expensive than other destinations in southern Italy : entrance to the disco around € 20.00, aperitif on the beach around € 10.00.

7 – Jesolo, Veneto
Photo of Annia316. Another favorite destination for night owls: the city of Jesolo is full of discos and clubs. After spending the day at the beach or at the Aqualandia water park , the evening can begin by sipping an aperitif at the historic Capannina Beach and continue for example to Muretto, another local – Jesolo institution.
Here too, however, you have to deal with the costs of a summer week: Jesolo is certainly not on the list of low cost summer destinations . Both accommodation and the prices of daily entertainment here are quite high. Admission to the disco is over € 20.00 and an aperitif on the beach easily exceeds € 10.00. But if you are looking for a VIP summer week, you are in the right place.

8 – Taormina, Sicily
A town in the province of Messina known for its splendid sea but also for its natural landscape and its historical monuments. And that’s not all: Taormina is a very coveted place by young people and by those who want to spend the night having fun with friends.

Taormina can be considered the perfect compromise for those looking for fun, yes, but also a cultural and relaxing holiday . The nightlife is certainly not lacking, but do not expect the discos of Milano Marittima and the beaches of Jesolo. Rather expect the Sicilian sea, the Mediterranean atmosphere, good food and dream places. And if you book early, you could also keep costs down and not spend a lot!

9 – Viareggio and Forte dei Marmi, Tuscany
Source: wikimedia commons. Viareggio, but also the nearby Forte dei Marmi, is full of clubs and discos: many young people from all over Italy go there to spend pleasant holidays or even just a short weekend, savoring the “mood” typical of this area, often frequented from VIP.
And if it is often frequented by VIPs … it automatically means that the costs will be the same as for VIPs. Not even Forte dei Marmi can be considered a low cost destination, on the contrary. It is one of the most expensive Italian summer destinations , both in terms of accommodation and cost of living. Discos, aperitifs and cocktails are expensive here, but the entertainment offer is among the richest.

10 – Elba Island, Tuscany
Source: wikimedia commons. The Island of Elba + another Tuscan location very popular with young people. In addition to offering a lot of nature and a beautiful sea, it offers a wide variety of lounge bars, discos and clubs where you can listen to live music.
Enchanting beaches are transformed into beaches where you can dance until dawn, discos are filled with young people and hotels are sold out months before.
Here too the costs are not low, the accommodations cost a little, especially if you don’t book well in advance. As for the nightlife, however, all in all we are on sustainable figures, with many discos, even free or with costs in any case around € 15.00, and cocktails / aperitifs on the beach under € 10.00.
